A. What Does this Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy applies to information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you (“Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that cannot be identified to any individual, their devices, or a household such as de-identified or anonymized data. We are not responsible for other third parties’ privacy practices; you should contact these parties directly to understand their practices.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for our Services. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any Personal Information to us or on the Services. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at legal@teufelaudio.com.
We gather various types of Personal Information from our users, as explained more fully below. We may use this Personal Information to personalize and improve our services, to contact users, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, to analyze how users utilize the Services, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy. We may share certain types of Personal Information with third parties, as described below. However, we do not rent or sell your information (other than certain web tracking that may be considered a sale under California law. Please see the California-specific section below to learn more).
B. What Information Does the Company Collect?
1. Information You Provide to Us
a) We receive and store information you provide to us. For example, we may collect Personal Information, including, but not limited to your first and last name, billing and delivery address, email address, payment information, date of birth, and telephone number. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to purchase products from us or to take advantage of some of our features. We may anonymize your Personal Information so that you cannot be individually identified and provide that information to our partners.
b) In order to provide you with the best possible customer service before, during and after the order, we use the services of the Zendesk platform. Zendesk aggregates various processes (e-mail, telephone) relating to a particular customer so that in any consultation with the customer, the previous history is clearly laid out for us. If you contact our customer services or write us a private message on our social media presence on Facebook, then these entries will be stored in connection with your enquiry in Zendesk.
Besides that, we have integrated a self-service portal into our website. You can register via entering your email address and find our services with regard to your orders: track your deliveries, view user manuals, and find product information. The registration and the entering of this data is voluntary. Only the data required to fulfill the purpose will be processed. You can delete your account within the portal by yourself or request deletion via email (legal@teufelaudio.com). The service will be conducted using the Zendesk platform, which may retain your information on Teufel’s behalf and use tools built with generative AI to facilitate responding to inquiries.
c) Calls to and from our customer service lines may be recorded and monitored, including by our employees, vendors, and artificial intelligence and similar technologies. In addition, we use a suite of technology solutions to assist with and to analyze telephone calls made to us. These solutions may record callers’ voices and conversations, transcribe telephone conversations, use artificial intelligence to identify, authenticate and assist callers, and/or evaluate and make recommendations. By using our services, including telephone and website communications, you accept and consent to our collection and use of such data (including personal data) and to our sharing that data with third parties, including Amazon Connect.
2. Information Collected Automatically

Cookies may also be used to personalize your visit by storing your preferences or displaying content based upon what you have viewed through our Services and other websites. Web beacons or pixel tags connect web pages to web servers and their cookies. We and others may use these and similar technologies on our services and other websites.
Other parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites when you use our Services. We do not respond to “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services. However, we provide a cookie management tool that permits you to set cookie and tracking preferences. Please note that these preferences may be limited to the device or computer you used to access our Site when setting such preferences. You can use our cookie manager here.
